DB Lab performs challenge test of cream, shampoo and other products where documentation of the antimicrobial efficacy is required, either on the finished product or added preservatives.

We perform the challenge test according to the current edition of either Ph. Eur. 5.1.3. Efficacy of Antimicrobial Preservation or USP chapter <51> Antimicrobial effectiveness testing.

In this method, the product's ability to eliminate or inhibit specific test microorganisms is tested over a period of 28 days.
