Identifcation of microorganisms

DB Lab offers isolation and identification of microorganisms using:

  • PCR of 16S rDNA or PCR with species-specific primers
  • Fermentation patterns of sugars (The API system)
  • Biochemical tests
  • Microscopy (Cell and colony morphology)
  • Selective growth media

 

We have a good deal of experience in development of methods and monitoring of organisms in microbial production.
