DB Lab is a professional and quality-oriented contract laboratory approved by the Danish Medicines Agency according to GMP. We perform chemical as well as microbiological analyses for the pharmaceutical and the herbal medical industries, biotech companies, the foodstuff industry and the chemical industry among others, and we analyse samples from clinical tests of new pharmaceutical products. Furthermore, we offer development and optimisation of fermentation processes, down stream processing and purification of fermentation products in pilot scale.

DB Lab carries out analyses according to the quality standards (GMP/GLP) in force. We have been approved by the Danish Medicines Agency to carry out analyses of pharmaceuticals, intermediates and raw materials according to the GMP rules.

We do analyses according to standard procedures (e.g. pharmacopoeia, NMKL) as well as assignments in which we are involved from the very start as regards development and validation of new methods.

Regular dialogues with our customers are of great importance to us. Quality and reliability are very important parameters to our customers and consequently to DB Lab A/S.

DB Lab A/S was established in 1985 under the name of Dansk Bioprotein A/S.

The first couple of years, the main occupation was research and development of fermentation and downstream processing.

Since 1993, DB Lab has carried out GMP analyses for customers as a contract laboratory – particularly for the pharmaceutical industry.

At present, DB Lab employs more than 25 people.
